The Samsung Galaxy A8s Could Do Away With the 3.5mm Headphone Jack

The Samsung Company is working tirelessly to ensure that the Galaxy A8s shapes up to becoming an important phone in the company. It will not only expand the Samsung Galaxy A series but also be among the first to include the whole display feature. This is according to the new information passed on recently although it won’t blend well with the customers’ expectations.

Rumors state that the Samsung Galaxy A8s might do away with the 3.5 mm headphone jack. If the rumors turn out true or get confirmed, then Samsung Galaxy A8s could be the first device not to include the feature. This might pave way for the removal of the feature on other future devices. Currently, it is expected that next year’s Samsung Galaxy S10 series will retain the popular report. Nonetheless, if the previous reports are accurate, the headphone jack might disappear from the flagship event devices with the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.

Although the Samsung Galaxy A8s might be doing away with this feature, Samsung undoubtedly is not cutting corners with the device. As a matter of fact, a recent leak reveals that the device is powered by the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 chip.  It is also stated that the device has 6GB RAM and storage capacity of 128GB. On the other hand, the 3,500mAh battery will help in maintaining the 6.4-inch display on. The screen’s display dimensions are 159.11 by 74.88 mm. It has a slim profile of about 7.38 mm probably due to the fact that it lacks the 3.5m audio jack. The device is said to have one color variant of black-grey.

The Samsung Galaxy A8s is expected to be official late this month (December) before a release in the New Year. Initially, it was stated that the phone will be available only in China. However, considering the new design, there might be an expansion to international selling markets.
